DocMatePDF provides professional PDF tools and account features. We collect only what we need to operate the service, enforce plan limits, and keep your account secure.

If you create an account, we collect your first name, last name, email address, and a hashed password. We also collect basic usage data needed to operate the service, such as sign-in times, tool run counts for plan limits, and technical logs (device type, IP address, error reports) to keep the platform secure and reliable. When analytics is enabled, we use Google Analytics to collect aggregated visit data (pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and referral source).

We do not sell your personal information. Document content is handled only as needed to deliver the tools you use. Files uploaded for conversion or AI processing are held temporarily in memory and immediately destroyed after processing is complete. We do not permanently store or harvest data from your documents. Do not upload sensitive documents unless you are comfortable with the feature you selected.

We use HTTP-only cookies to keep you signed in and to protect your session. These cookies are required for account features. We may also store appearance preferences (such as theme) on your device. We use account and usage information to provide the service, enforce plan limits, respond to support requests, prevent abuse, and improve DocMatePDF. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
